All-Girls Try Hockey for Free Event Inspires New Players at Winterfest
Around 20 girls took the ice at Winterfest on Sunday, November 23rd for the St. Louis Blues’ All-Girls Try Hockey for Free event. Led by Blues Youth Hockey coaches, participants learned foundational skills like passing, stickhandling, and shooting. All in a fun and supportive environment.
Each player received a jersey and stick to keep, helping them continue exploring the sport long after the session ended.
The event showcased the growing enthusiasm for girls’ hockey in St. Louis. With so many smiles on the ice, the future of girls’ hockey in our community looks brighter than ever.
