Try Ball Hockey for Free – Season Recap

From July through October, the St. Louis Blues proudly hosted eight Try Ball Hockey for Free sessions, welcoming more than 200 young participants to experience the excitement of hockey in a fun, accessible environment.

Throughout each session, kids learned the fundamentals of the sport with guidance from our St. Louis Blues Street Team and Blues Youth Hockey coaches. Players worked on key skills including stickhandling, passing, and shooting, before finishing each session with a high-energy mini scrimmage that put their new abilities to the test.

Every participant went home with a hockey stick, ball, and Blues-branded pinny, giving them the tools to continue practicing and enjoying the game long after the event.
