Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need to know how to skate before signing up?
All children must complete skating lessons before joining Little Blues as it will make learning hockey focused skills such as shooting and stickhandling much easier if a child is comfortable on skates.
Where can my child participate in Learn To Skate/skating lessons?
A majority of local rinks will have their own Learn To Skate programs or skating lessons taking place year-round. There is no requirement on which of these programs your child will need to complete.
However, if you are looking for a recommendation, Centene Community Ice Center has their own Learn To Skate program and more information can be found here: https://www.centenecommunityicecenter.com/ice-skating/learn-to-skate-1
Why do I not see any Little Blues sessions on the registration page?
This is because the sessions are either completely filled up/sold out or registration is not yet open for a specific session.
I was added to a waiting list during registration, what does this mean?
If you were added to our waiting list, this means our session is currently filled. Should a spot open, you will be notified. If no spots open, you will be added to the communication list for the next available session.
