Try Hockey for Free
About
The St. Louis Blues and First Community Credit Union invites children to join us for one of our Try Hockey for Free events throughout the year. During the 45-minute on-ice session, the Blues Youth Hockey coaching staff will help participants learn the fundamental skills of hockey, including skating, passing, stickhandling, and shooting. A loaner set of equipment will be provided to participants, including skates, gloves, and a helmet. They will also receive a jersey and hockey stick they get to keep.
Program Includes
- A free 45-minute on-ice session.
- Stick and jersey that children get to keep!
- Loaner set of equipment (the loaner equipment must be returned to the Blues Youth Hockey staff after the event has ended).
- Pamphlet containing information on our Little Blues and Girls Development Learn to Play programs.
Program Eligibility
- Children must be between the ages of 4-9.
- Children who are not registered with a local Missouri Hockey Association.
- Children who have not participated in any Learn to Play programs.
- Your child can only attend one Try Hockey for Free event.

Does my child need to know how to skate before signing up?
We allow children at all skating levels to join us for the Try Hockey for Free events.
Can my child do this program multiple times?
No, your child is only eligible to do this program once.
