Future Hockey Stars Take the Ice at Winterfest!
On Sunday, January 4th at Winterfest in Kiener Plaza, the St. Louis Blues hosted two exciting Try Hockey for Free sessions at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Kids ages 4–9 who are curious about getting into hockey had the opportunity to experience the game firsthand, stepping onto the ice for a fun and welcoming introduction to hockey.
Led by our Blues Youth Hockey Coaches, these future hockey stars jumped on the ice to learn the basics of skating, stick handling, passing, and shooting, all while enjoying a fun and welcoming environment. The smiles and excitement said it all as participants got their first taste of hockey.
To top it off, every participant went home with a hockey stick and jersey to keep, making the day even more memorable. We loved seeing so many young players discover the joy of hockey and can’t wait to see them back on the ice soon!
