Paul Stastny Coaches Winter Little Blues Participants
Last week, Little Blues participants were treated to an exciting surprise, as Blues alumni Paul Stastny joined the group to help coach these new hockey players during Week 2 of the program. Stastny took to the ice at Centene Community Ice Center to share his expertise and have some fun, as the kids continued developing their hockey skills.
Stastny had a tremendous 17-year career in the NHL, playing for the Colorado Avalanche, Carolina Hurricanes, Winnipeg Jets, Vegas Golden Knights, and of course, the St. Louis Blues. Making things even more special, he grew up and played youth hockey right here in St. Louis.
In addition, at the end of practice, each young player who took the ice received an autograph card signed by the former NHLer.
