St. Louis Blues Women In Sports Panel

On Tuesday, March 24, the St. Louis Blues hosted an inspiring Women in Sports panel, bringing together leaders from across the sports industry for a morning centered on empowerment, storytelling, and connection. Through a $10 donation, attendees helped raise more than $600 for Girls on the Run, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to strengthening participants’ social, emotional, and physical skills through engaging, inclusive programming.

The event offered a unique opportunity to hear directly from women shaping the sports business and media landscape. The day began with attendees watching the Blues' morning practice at Enterprise Center. Guests were then escorted to Stifel Theatre, where a networking breakfast featuring Chick-fil-A created a welcoming, energized environment for attendees to connect.

The panel was moderated by Emily Campbell, who led a dynamic conversation with an accomplished group of speakers: Brenda Wilbur, Bomi Park, Lauren Janssen, Tamar Sher, and Alex Cavallini. Each panelist shared unique insights from their roles in team operations, media, and professional athletics.

During the 45-minute discussion, panelists reflected on their career journeys, openly discussing both the opportunities they’ve pursued and the challenges they’ve overcome. A key theme throughout the conversation was the importance of balancing professional ambitions with personal life, as well as the value of resilience, adaptability, and strong support systems.

The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where attendees had the chance to ask thoughtful questions and receive candid advice on breaking into and growing within the sports industry. Panelists offered practical guidance and encouragement, particularly for young professionals and aspiring athletes navigating similar paths.

As women continue to make an impact across all areas of sports, events like this Women in Sports panel highlight the power of representation, mentorship, and community in driving the industry forward.
